Objectives and tasks of the Swiss fleet of dragons
• It takes DrachenseglerInnen nationally and internationally on sporting and political level and promotes the interest in the boat
• You hang glider takes on the boards of the Swiss Sailing Federation (SSV / swiss sailing)
• They represented Switzerland in the International Dragon Association (IDA). There, the class rules are formulated and supervised the building regulations. The goal is to preserve the value of the boat as a unit class (one design) without a continuous development to prevent it.
• You Drachenflotten Local (Lake Thun supported, Lake Constance, Lake Zug) in the promotion of the regatta sport.
• It organizes every year an official International Swiss Championship
• It introduces and monitors an annual ranking of the regattierenden sailors
• It maintains a Web site (www.dragon-class.ch)
• It publishes the newsletter of the IDA International Dragon Association (IDA) and the dragon info. (together with Germany, Hungary and Austria)
